preparation and organizing of Int'l Microcredit Conference 2010

The progress with organizing the International Microcredit Conference 2010 in AIESEC Bangladesh is going pretty smooth and exciting. Venue arrangements seem to be happening well. Communications with the foreign ministries are also looking good as the foreign ministry said they would cooperate greatly with AIESEC to facilitate more and more international delegates coming into Bangladesh for this confere
nce.

Some of our alumni are also being very helpful in this context as they are helping us develop our methodologies and strategies with their experiences in great ways.

It's really amazing to see how the many small pieces are falling into place one after another and it's fantastic to be able to be a part of this. Of course, it's not as easy as it sounds because tough challenges are always there and it's an integral part of any kind of quest an individual or a team of individuals make.
it's upto the people how effectively they deal with the challenges and overcome these challenges as an experience.

I would take this moment to appreciate the great amount of work being done by Faisal, VP Outgoing Exchange of AIESEC in Bangladesh, and his Congress Committee team in an effort to make this conference a wonderful experience for the youth of the world regarding Microfinance.
These people are demonstrating great zeal and energy in the work that they are doing and it's amazing to rely on their capabilities. They are doing a fantastic job and we would like to see more of it coming in.

But it's also important for this energetic team to realize that we have just started our venture and there is still a huge amount of work to do. We must not fall tired in the middle, rather we should have great energy starting from NOW - it's a great responsibility that we have taken up on our shoulders. If AIESEC in Bangladesh could host an international conference in 2005, then 5 generations later we can still do it in 2010.

My message for everyone else would be to be as much contributive and as much supportive as possible to these people. Even the minutest contributions to this team from your end will bring a lot of appreciation and self-esteem. The CC team is doing a hard work and we must take every opportunity to convert their tough venture to a soothing one where EVERYONE will enjoy the great synergy that exists between all of us. We all have a stake in this and we shall give all our efforts into this - success will come inshAllah as just a matter of time.

Take care and best of luck to Faisal and his team for carrying the amazing job forward. We have great hopes from you all.

Cheers ;-)
